We believe that in order to communicate an effective message via our website, the message has to be created in such a way that it multilingual to our markets. Using the term multilingual does not just mean spoken languages, but includes Braille, fonts, colours, images, computer code, usability and accessibility.
In order to create a web friendly environment we have taken great steps to ensure that our website has been designed and tested to be as web user friendly and web accessible as possible. The key features include:
Alternative Text
Each image on our website has an alternative text attribute also known as alt text. This basically means that each image is accompanied with text information that allows and other assistive technologies such as screen readers and braille readers for the blind and partially blind. Images that have only been used for design/layout purposes have had their text attributes set to empty in accordance with accepted best practices.
CSS Style Sheets
CSS style sheets have been fully tested and implemented according to W3C standards. CSS technology has been deployed in order to ensure greater user friendliness and accessibility, which will assist other browsing technologies such as text browsers, screen readers and braille readers for the blind and partially blind.
Frames
We have avoided using frames, due to the problems that specialist browsers have interpreting the HTML.

Minimising the use of Images
Where possible we have limited the use of images/graphics to reduce page download time.
Text Size
To allow greater web usability we have included functionality, which gives the user the ability to change the text size. This allows users with conditions such as long-sightedness, partially sighted or dyslexia the abilty to view our website.
This can be done very easily by changing the browser settings.

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Go to the View menu and select Text Size.
- Select larger or smaller font, depending on your needs. The text will immediately change.

If you are using Netscape Navigator/Communicator
- Go to the View menu.
- Select Increase Font to make the text bigger, or Decrease Font to make it smaller. The text of our Web site will immediately change.
